Our new family member

This is the newest member of the family, & will be coming to live with us in the coming days. I'll be documenting our journey to pick him up, as well as the initial meeting with Edgrrr. It should be interesting!

I have requested tht I never be told the name of the "family" that starved this Canine for 30 days (generously providing him water). The only "just" punishment I can imagine would be for the entire family to be chained to a tree and given only water for thirty days as they did to "their" dog. He weighed less that 20 pounds when his "owners" dumped him at a shelter and asked that he be euthanased. Thankfully the local Basset Rescue took  him and with he help of many generous people he will be coming to live with us this week. He will never know hunger or torment ever again.
